- Include COGS, prep, freight, storage exposure and return/refund assumptions.

- Set up a monthly process for reconciling planned vs actual product economics.
Compliance
- Create a filing/compliance calendar appropriate to the business structure.
- Coordinate bookkeeping and record retention from the beginning.

- Retain Seller Central, supplier, shipment and compliance documentation in an organized record system.
Launch
- Confirm listings are active and inventory is actually available before marketing the launch.

Before You Ship the First Unit
You should be able to answer five questions clearly: Who owns the account? What documentation supports the products? What does each unit actually cost to sell? Where is the inventory at every stage? Who is responsible when an Amazon, supplier or logistics issue appears?
